Our community is a favorite summer destination for many vacationers from all over the region who flock to our sandy beaches to enjoy the warm sand and refreshing water.  However, we are a year-round community.  Many have decided to call Margate home.   The reasons are as varied as our residents.  Some prefer our schools, others the close proximity of shops and ease of getting around, still others prefer living close to the sea.   There are even those that grew up here and just couldn’t imagine living elsewhere.

Our residents love to throw parties.  We have the Margate Fall Funfest, Fireworks, BeachFest, Wine Tastings, art shows…you name it, chances are we have it.  There is at least one party for every season.
